Position Summary:
We are recruiting an experienced and empathetic English teacher to support students with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD. You'll provide adapted literacy instruction that meets a range of developmental levels and learning styles.
Contract Type
Full-Time | Long-Term
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
- Experience teaching SEN students in the UK
- Classroom management and team collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Tailor English lessons to suit a variety of needs
- Use alternative literacy milestones and frameworks
- Develop a safe and encouraging learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils
- Assist with personal care when needed
