Trades Manager
- Hourly Rate: £19.02 - £23.60 (Umbrella Rate)
- Location: Sheffield (S2 ostcode)
As the successful candidate you will manage a diverse team of trades operatives and oversee small projects, ensuring high standards of customer service and stakeholder management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee a team of approximately 10 trades operatives, including roofers, plasterers, painters, joiners, and plumbers.
- Manage small projects, such as addressing drainage issues, joinery, roof leaks, and property damage.
- Conduct site meetings and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Engage in stakeholder management to maintain strong working relationships.
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the team operates efficiently, meeting project deadlines and maintaining high standards of work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven management experience in a trades environment.
- Qualified in a trade (excluding electricians) with relevant certifications.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience conducting health and safety inspections.
- Strong contract management skills, including overseeing contractors.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
