Job Title:?Procurement Manager
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Location:?Hemel Hempstead (with regular travel to Bracknell head office and sites in London)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers
- Work with key stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Develop and strategize procurement plans to ensure the completion of the organisation's targets
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best cost savings for the best quality
- Assess potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies
- Identify efficient processes for the procurement cycle
- Generate and analyse reports
- Engage and motivate the team
- Monitor training and development opportunities for the team
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a procurement manager within the construction sector
- Understand the ins and outs of the procurement process and regulatory requirements
- Highly organised and efficient
- Confident with problem solving and decision making
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible to travel to multiple locations
