I am recruiting for an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join my client based in Salisbury. The company works in a hybrid work model, with their team required to work in their Salisbury office three days a week. The company employs approximately 165 people, with 35 individuals in their R&D team, which is divided into mobile, hardware, and software. This particular role is within the software team, focusing on the testing of embedded software products and applications for a variety of audio products. While the primary responsibility will be manual testing of their software, there is also an opportunity to get involved in automation testing using Python.
In this role, you will work closely with the wider tech team. Your responsibilities will include testing new features, conducting regression testing, and developing comprehensive test plans. Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in test automation as and when needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in testing embedded software and hardware, rather than web-based testing, with any experience with Python-based automation tools is advantageous but not essential.
