Role: Commercial Finance Manager

Length of contract: 6 month initial contract

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

Our client is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager/ Business Partner to support them on a 6 month initial contract (possibility to extend!)

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting commercial decision-making processes within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Commercial Strategy: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Cost Management: Oversee cost control initiatives and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to various departments, providing financial guidance and support to achieve business objectives.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA etc.
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role offers hybrid work, based in Watford.
