Are you a passionate educator with expertise in Product Design and Food Technology? We are seeking a dynamic teacher to join our team for a one-year academic position starting in April. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students in Borehamwood.

Role Overview:

As a Product Design and Food Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and innovative lessons to inspire students in these creative fields. You will have the opportunity to nurture students' talents, encourage their creativity, and develop their skills in both practical and theoretical aspects of design and food technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in Product Design and Food Technology, catering to students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements and extracurricular activities related to Product Design and Food Technology.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Product Design and/or Food Technology at the secondary level.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating students to excel in creative subjects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
