  • Salary: £22,829 to £24,805 (FTE) / £17,485 to £18,998 pa (actual)
  • Start Date: 2 September 2024

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a school renowned for its high standards of teaching and learning, and its commitment to helping primary-aged pupils with a diagnosis on the Autistic Spectrum achieve their full potential.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support and assist pupils with physical learning and sensory difficulties.
  • Promote pupils' social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and evaluate learning activities.
  • Deliver high-quality educational provision tailored to the needs of young people with Autism.
  • Be an integral part of a team that enables pupils to thrive and develop into successful young individuals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with physical learning and sensory difficulties.
  • Ability to contribute positively to the school's ethos and standards.
  • Confident, resilient, patient, and nurturing approach to pupil support.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
