We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a school renowned for its high standards of teaching and learning, and its commitment to helping primary-aged pupils with a diagnosis on the Autistic Spectrum achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support and assist pupils with physical learning and sensory difficulties.
- Promote pupils' social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and evaluate learning activities.
- Deliver high-quality educational provision tailored to the needs of young people with Autism.
- Be an integral part of a team that enables pupils to thrive and develop into successful young individuals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in supporting pupils with physical learning and sensory difficulties.
- Ability to contribute positively to the school's ethos and standards.
- Confident, resilient, patient, and nurturing approach to pupil support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
