My client is a leading manufacturer of innovative products used in sectors including Energy, Marine, and Industrial Engineering. They are looking for a Research and Development Manager to join their team in Great Yarmouth.
The Research and Development Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Degrees (ie. Physics, Mathematics, etc)
- 5+ years of management experience in an R&D environment
- Proven experience leading R&D projects from concept to completion
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative mindset
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
The Research and Development Manager role will involve:
- Managing a multidisciplinary team to develop and improve new and existing products
- Leading the innovation and development process from initial concept to market launch
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth product development and delivery
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet company objectives
