A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their team in Staverton, Cheltenham, on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity comes with a salary package of up to £45,000.

Candidates will have previous experience within purchasing or procurement specifically within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Role responsibilities of the Buyer include:
- Assist in determining demand, supply, and fulfilment planning within the MRP system
- Accountable for converting purchase demand into purchase orders after appropriately evaluating vendor capability
- Responsible for managing the RFQ process to secure competitive bids
- Integrating with Engineering teams to meet procurement requirement and act as primary point of contact
- Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers
Person Specification of the Buyer:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement or Buyer role within a manufacturing environment
- Confident and competent in reading engineering drawings with the ability to interpret relevant information to inform purchasing decisions - must
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MRP Systems
- Excellent communication across all departments and platforms
