Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our dynamic team. You will be working alongside a talented team of junior and senior estimators and will report to the Head of Pre-Construction. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estimator to contribute to a range of high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical engineering projects.

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the pre-construction team to ensure estimates align with project goals.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine estimates and project plans.

Project Management:

Monitor and update estimates as project requirements change.

Assist in developing bid strategies and presenting estimates to clients.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of all estimates, including assumptions, calculations, and supporting documentation.

Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the engineering or construction sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
