I am seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner to join this large not-for-profit organisation based in Wakefield. The role involves hands-on advisory support, dealing with complex employee relations, strategic planning, along with business partnering your stakeholders

A reputable not-for-profit organisation, our client boasts a large workforce dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. With a team of over 500, they provide housing services in West Yorkshire.

Description

As a HR Business Partner, you will work with the operational side of the business providing high quality strategic HR advice and guidance to support business objectives. Therefore, any experience of working in blue collar environments would be advantageous!

The successful candidate will have experience in partnering senior management teams and key stakeholders to drive the implementation of key priorities, such as (but not limited to):

  • Provide a wide-ranging HR service to colleagues, ensuring that all managers have the necessary tools and knowledge, while being supported through process and policy.
  • Build management capability through coaching and challenging people management and decisions.
  • Complex Employee Relations casework.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance.
  • Lead project management for HR initiatives.
  • Partner with the HR team to develop and implement organisation-wide policies.
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working within a fast paced HR department, advising, guiding and coaching managers and employees on the full spectrum of Employee Relations and Resourcing issues. Previous Business Partnering experience would be advantageous, however, experience in managing Employee Relations cases is a priority requirement for this vacancy.

You should also have:

  • CIPD Level 7 or working towards is essential.
  • Experience in Human Resources within the not-for-profit sector or blue collar sector ideal.
  • Strong experience in handling employee relations issues.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with UK labour law and HR best practices.
