KS2 SEN Teacher (September 2024 Start)
Position Details:
- Role: KS2 SEN Teacher
- Start Date: September 2024
- Contract: Full Time (Term Time Only)
- Salary: M2-M6 (Main Pay Scale 2 to 6)
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons and activities.
- Support students with personal care tasks (toileting, feeding, mobility).
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs preferred.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with diverse learners.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development.
