Nursery assistant
Newstaff are looking for Nursery Assistants to work as supply cover assignments in nurseries across Aylesbury.
If you are a Nursery Practitioner looking for a better work life balance, variety and flexibility working as a supply Nursery Practitioner could be what you are looking for. You will have the opportunity to work part or full time covering in daily, weekly or longer-term assignments.
Working as a Nursery Assistant is a rewarding and vital role, you will be helping to create a safe, engaging, and supportive nursery environment for the children in the absence of their regular practitioner.
Essential requirements:
- Exemplary knowledge of child development/EYFS
- Hold a valid paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Experience caring for children under 5 within a childcare setting.
- Thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or above.

Newstaff are committed to safeguarding children; successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS, with further vetting checks including references. If you have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 10 years you will need to provide overseas ‘police good conduct' check.
Please note this role is only suitable to candidates that live within commutable Aylesbury.
