Office Manager

Position Overview:

The role of the Office Manager is to work with the HR and Operations manager to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis. The Office Manager will need to have strong PA skills as they will also provide PA support to the Managing Director and carry out basic HR duties when required to ensure things run smoothly in our friendly and close-knit team.

The Office Manager will report directly to the Managing Director. You will also build strong relationships with:

  • The Content Team
  • The Technical Team
  • The Senior Management Team
  • The Administration and Finance Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office administration: Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, managing correspondence, preparing documents and minutes of meetings, and maintaining office supplies
  • Document management: Maintain organised records, files, and databases, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Support to Senior Management: Provide administrative support to the Mananging Director and senior management as required.
  • HR Support: Assist with onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and recruitment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Enjoy managing their own workload and working with different teams.
  • Driven, positive, proactive, upbeat and a team player willing to roll their sleeves up.

Place of work:

The role of Office Manager is an office-based role, with the possibility of some work from home. The role is for 37.5 hours a week, with working hours between 8.00am and 5.00pm with an hour for lunch. The exact hours of work will be agreed before commencement.

Salary

£25K per annum, depending on experience and skill set.
