Executive Assistant to CEO

Our client is a leading start-up in the RegTech industry, grown from an idea from a group of compliance experts from a larger consultancy. Backed by strong investment and fundraising, the business is on an exciting growth journey over the next 12 months.

The role:

Seeking an experienced Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant to support the CEO with a variety of day to day activities required to push the business forward. You will have the opportunity to support on strategic initiatives directly impacting sales, market positioning, fundraising and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO's inboxes, social media channels and calendar, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and event planning
  • Support the CEO in strategic planning and execution to enter new markets and enhance presence in existing markets
  • Maintain robust relationships including CEOs and investors, handling communications and regular updates
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of pitches and presentations to potential investors, including due diligence and documentation management
  • Coordinate with various departments to align operations with strategic objectives
  • Oversee and manage specific projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate and prepare for client presentations and product demos, including follow-up communications
  • Prepare meeting agendas and document minutes, ensuring actionable items are communicated and followed up on

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and French
  • Minimum of upper second-class Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in a support role in a high-paced, startup environment
  • Excellent negotiation and excellent communication skills
  • Proven interest in tech and financial industries
  • Ability to work in busy environment and be resilient
  • Being tech savvy including strong handling of Excel and other software (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Taskworld, PandaDoc etc.
