We are currently seeking highly motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants to provide invaluable support to students within a Secondary school environment. As a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in aiding students to reach their full potential through individualised and small group assistance.
Day to day of the role:
- Offer targeted individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist teachers in the development and execution of lesson plans.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Support student learning and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and fellow teachers to promote student achievement.
- Help administer assessments and tests, ensuring a supportive testing environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
- The ability to connect with students from diverse ages, backgrounds, and learning abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction and support.
- The capacity to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
- A passion for assisting students with special needs and a dedication to their educational success.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS (this can be processed thorough Reed)
EWC membership
