C# Technical Engineering Lead

Franklin Bates is working with a global media organisation who are specialists in their niche market and are looking for a Technical Engineering Lead for their expanding teams.
As an extremely well-recognised and globally renowned digital media organisation, this business offers huge growth potential to any successful candidate. You will become part of an innovative growing team and get your hands on some interesting products, influenced by really dynamic people.
The successful candidate will be a forward thinking, business savvy and worldly Technical Engineering Lead with a particular interest in complex systems engineering and distributed systems. You will need to have a solid background in nurturing, growing teams and ways of working in a fast-paced business environment. You will know your way around architectural diagrams and have a deep understanding of how Engineers and software development works.
Essential skills:
- Extensive Technical Engineering experience from a systems and development perspective, having worked with authentic Agile teams
- Architectural mindset
- Come from a Software systems heavy background and understand IT requirements in detail - (C#, with a specialism of one of the following - Blazor, Azure or MVC5)
- Be an advocate for XP, Clean Code (Robert Martin)
- Have a solid Agile background, knowledge of the market and scope in styles
- Under product testing, incorporating TDD (Kent Beck) and Test before approaches (BDD)
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with occasion planning meetings in London and paying up to £100,000 base salary with excellent benefits on top.
