As part of our global ISO20022 and payments delivery team you will define the application delivery strategy across various initiatives, creating the roadmap and driving its execution as the Technical Product Manager. Your role will require you to demonstrate Subject Matter Expert level capabilities on all aspects of ISO20022, collaborating with other Product Managers, development leads, architects, Operations, Businesses and key Clients / Regulators. The role will require use of the Technical Product Manager's intimate understanding of ISO20022 messaging and payments processes to maintain control of solution definition, prioritization and delivery, that will ultimately result with the continued successful delivery of the Corporate Cash Management goals and key results. The Technical Product Manager collaborates closely with Project Delivery leads, engaging the activity of specialists to ensure that suitable solutions are implemented that comply with architectural principles and guidelines alongside legal and regulatory requirements to ensure that the needs of the bank and the client are constantly met.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define the solution strategy across all workstreams to ensure that the project delivery is executed and implemented in alignment to the defined business and technology goals
  • Internal & external stakeholder management and communication, including steering the development of technical and product solutions to meeting business needs, while remaining aligned top architectural principals
  • Ensuring solutions are sympathetic to competing priorities and existing constraints, as well as compliance to technology standards and control measures
  • Executing influence across the organization to ensure delivery meets vision goals by mapping, throughout project delivery, architecture principles and features to application solution via appropriate tollgates
  • Ownership of more complex topics in support of project teams

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrable knowledge of ISO20022 principals and impact to Financial Institutions
  • Hands on experience with Cross Border or Real Time Gross Settlement payment schemes
  • Sound technical knowledge of high volume, highly available infrastructures
  • Excellent management & communication skills
  • Ideally 10+ years' experience in a similar sized Financial services organisation
