Bookkeeper

Our client based in Aylesbury are currently recruiting for a hybrid Finance and Operations Assistant on a temporary basis for the next 2-3 months, this could be extended. You must have experience in using QuickBooks for this position.

Will will be required to work 36 hours per work. The position will be mostly working from home with occasional attendance in the office required.

This is replacing a permanent member of staff so there could be opportunity for the position to be extended.

Key duties include:

  • Book Keeping - Using QuickBooks
  • Day to day management of banking (monitoring receipts and making payments), review and reconciliation of balance sheets, petty cash, PayPal, credit card.
  • Raising sales invoices and collecting funds
  • Collating invoices for bank runs
  • Recording payments
  • Managing expense forms
  • Assisting with internal audits
  • Supporting the payroll process
  • Coordinate meetings
  • Arrange regular staff meeting
  • Assist with on-boarding of new starters
  • Some customer service and HR assistance when required.

Experience required:

  • Book keeping - Used QuickBooks
  • Administration
  • Customer service
  • Excellent user of Microsoft
