We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with corporate administrative experience, excellent communication & organisational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive attitude. The Finance Administrator will support the day-to-day business activities and contribute to the efficient operation of the finance department.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maintain internal policy documents and assist with the administration of company Healthcare policies.
  • Manage the company car fleet, including updating registers, insurance, tax reporting, and invoice coding.
  • Complete quarterly Plastic packaging tax templates and assist with the preparation of quarterly group VAT returns.
  • Maintain insurance policy schedules and assist with renewals and keep lease schedules updated.
  • Provide cover and assistance for the payroll administrator.
  • Manage the company credit card scheme, including dealing with new starters, credit limits, and card blocks.
  • Prepare monthly tax analysis schedules for Legal fees, lease costs, entertaining, expenses, and more.
  • Assist with month-end procedures, including fuel scale charge, class 1A, medical, postponed VAT, and DDS journals.
  • Update monthly intercompany schedules for corporation tax purposes and monthly EUR/USD forecast spreadsheets to assist with forward contract placement.
  • Maintain and organise files and records, providing support as needed, such as preparing for meetings and follow-up on tasks.
  • Provide additional assistance in other administrative tasks as required, including ad-hoc projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, SharePoint, and Word.
  • Relevant administrative experience, preferably in a finance or corporate setting.
  • A balance of technical and analytical skills.
