Credit Controller - Full or Part-Time

Achieve Professionals is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading North East law firm that consistently sets the standard for legal excellence.

Position: Credit Controller - Full or Part-Time

Location: Newcastle

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a busy collections team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the chasing of and collection of overdue invoices
  • You'll handle a large volume of communications including phone calls and emails with and from clients
  • Handle all related administration.
  • Prepare reports
  • Manage debtor ledger balances
  • Deal with invoice queries

Experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of managing a diverse debtor book
  • Have experience of dealing directly with clients

Skills & Attributes:

  • Be highly numerate with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Have a confident and persistent manner with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills and strong attention to detail are essential
  • Strong experience of Excel
