Description
- Demonstrate clear leadership in the achievement of KPI's, recognising and praising team and individual success
- Ensure that the product is produced to the agreed customer specification
- Ensure that the product does not become contaminated with/from any engineering activities
- Ensure the full compliance of the department with the Company's food safety and hygiene policies
- Understand the cost of lost production due to downtime, labour availability and lack of maintenance
- Monitor plant and equipment reliability and effect strategies to improve reliability, reduce machine down-time and allow optimal line utilisation
- Ensure equipment availability
- Ensure all Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is completed to schedule
- Ensure all machine and equipment maintenance, repairs, upgrades are recorded in the Main Man System to establish plant equipment performance histories that will assist in the future scheduling prioritisation of work
- Apply high level diagnostic skills to accelerate problem solution and machine repairs taking ownership of situation through to conclusion.
- Actively participate and lead Project Work as and when required
