A successful and growing small business based in central Camberley is seeking a skilled Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist to join their close-knit team. The Role

Fully office-based position, responsible for managing all aspects of payroll while also supporting bookkeeping and / or accounts preparation.

  • End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll preparation and processing
  • Pension submissions and HMRC compliance (RTI, P60s, P45s, etc.)
  • Maintaining up-to-date employee payroll records
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including ledgers, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and VAT returns
  • Support in preparing and assisting with year-end processes and, if you'd like to learn, some management accounts
  • Ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience managing payroll processes in a UK business
  • Solid bookkeeping or accounts preparation background
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero (or similar) and Excel is preferred
  • Good understanding of UK payroll legislation and tax requirements
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently
