You will be working for a rapidly growing accountancy practice with a large network of offices offering a wide range of services to their clients that are mostly within owner-managed small and medium-sized businesses.
As an Audit Assistant, you will have the ability and motivation needed to perform basic compliance tasks to a high standard, prepare computations for review by senior staff and work within your own chargeable time budget. On a day-to-day basis, you will provide on-site support for audit clients, which include planning, day to day managing of workload and liaising with clients; completing audit assignments, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients; working and collaborating with other members of the audit team and the wider department as necessary to provide high quality client service. Some assignments may require travel as you work more closely with some of your audit clients.
The successful candidate is likely to be AAT qualified or equivalent and will probably already have started to work towards ACA/ACCA/CA and be keen to further your career in the audit arena.
