A well established and forward thinking consultancy based in Birmingham are activley recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer on a permanent basis on a hybrid working module.
As a Senior Data Engineer, day to day duties include:
- Working closley with stakeholders and senior staff to undertstand their goals and breaking these down into tasks
- Implementing ETL processes via Informatica PowerCenter for Data ingestion, transformation and storage
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle
To Excel in this role you will need:
- To be an excellent communicator for stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and Python
- Extensive knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g AWS, Azure and GCP)
- Knowledge of data ingestion tools, Informatica PowerCenter is ideal but not essential!
- Able to commute to Birmingham city center for monthly meetings
