The role, Head of Finance... a role where you will be at the heart of an extremely successful group based in Nottingham.
Offering between £80,000 to £90,000 + Car Allowance + 30% Bonus + Very Flexible Hybrid Working (mostly remote, 1 day in the office with occasional travel to sites)
It's worth highlighting that this role does not involve "day-to-day doing"; it's genuinely focused on adding value. You'll have a seat at the leadership table and will be supported by your team to drive change.
You'll be working closely alongside senior Finance, Operations and Commercial stakeholder networks to influence strategy and business outcomes, offering expert analysis and interpretation, presenting options to resolve problems and create opportunities and support informed financial decision-making.
The Opportunity...
- Support and challenge senior commercial team in delivering strategies
- Foster operational relationships while promoting financial awareness and responsibility.
- Ensure thorough reporting, analysis, and investigation within the finance department, and develop action plans for process improvements.
- Oversee and influence capital expenditure investment appraisals.
- Help stakeholders understand key financial drivers and prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
Be a strong advocate of analytics, developing a deep understanding of the business to make sure that analysis is embedded in everyday decision making. Draw meaningful insights and ideas from large data sets to support and improve business performance.
Your Experience...
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified with experience in a senior commercial role (FP&A/ Business Partnering) in a Large Co, listed or PLC Environment
- Excellent excel and modelling skills
- Developing the collation and reporting of data
- Able to demonstrate evidence of working in a growing organisation with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and commercial teams
