Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-focused services? Xyla is seeking an Elective care director to join our Senior management team and drive the operational and commercial performance of our business.

In this role you will work closely with our clinical teams to ensure that modern, up-to-date workforce and people practices are in place, enabling the highest quality care for our clients and patients. You will provide strategic direction and leadership, enhancing our business unit's value proposition and driving competitive advantage within the industry.

Part of Acacium Group, Xyla is an integrated healthcare solution that improves people's lives and alleviates the demands of the UK healthcare system. Our services help people avoid hospital or accelerate them safely through it, with specialist support in their community or homes whenever needed. Working with over 80 NHS trusts, our clinical care team delivers a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute and virtual services – all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met.

Everyday you will...

  • Oversee the mobilisation and delivery of a diverse portfolio of insourcing and outsourcing clinical services into NHS and private customers, ensuring the highest clinical and operational standards are met
  • Implement and maintain effective strategies for ongoing engagement with clients to monitor performance against operational KPIs, meetings and client satisfaction
  • Hold responsibility for decisions that relate to revenue, cost of sale and overheads, work closely with the finance team and operations director to deliver forecasting, billing and other key financial reporting processes
  • Lead and hold overall responsibility for business development, driving sales teams by setting and delivering against ambitious sales targets
  • Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with acute NHS trusts, built upon provision of an excellent service and certainty of delivery
  • Establish and foster a supportive, open, and collaborative working environment across teams that strives for operational excellence
