We have an exciting, unique opportunity for a mid-weight Lighting Designer to join our client's growing, vibrant, creative design team.

We're looking for a talented and self-driven individual to work on our in-house and external lighting design projects at home here in the UK and around the globe!

We are a well-established, award-winning Lighting Design and Manufacturing Business with a wealth of experience in the Marine, Hospitality and Residential sectors. We are looking to expand our team with a Lighting Designer who has a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

We're looking for someone proactive with strong communication skills as well as excellent creative and technical skills. You will need to have experience and knowledge of all relevant software packages including Dialux / Relux, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe, and Office.

Responsibilities will include:

??Design, plan, manage and oversee projects alongside key stakeholders for both fee-based and design and supply projects.

??Deliver lighting designs to a world-class standard. The successful candidate will be involved throughout all design stages from initial concepts through to project commissioning and snagging.

??Ensure the smooth running of all lighting design projects (current and new).

??Liaise with our product designers on specifications and pricing as well as create initial concepts for products/installation to suit project needs.

??Provide sound technical lighting design advice to our clients as required.

??Continuously research and explore trending/ current market and industry trends and be aware of the wider luminaire market. It is expected that any candidates will have an active interest in the industry and look for opportunities to further their knowledge of this.

??Arrange and undertake site visits (UK and abroad).

??Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, M&E consultants, and developers.

??Assist colleagues and the Director in ensuring we maintain a high level of design and technical

output along with the ongoing development of design studio procedures.
