Treasury Analyst- Accounting and Forecasting

Nomad owns a portfolio of leading brands including Birds Eye, Findus and iglo, supplemented in 2018 with the purchase of Goodfellas pizza and Aunt Bessies, and in 2021 with the purchase of Ledo & Frikom.
We manufacture and distribute a range of branded frozen food products across 20 European countries with the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Sweden and France representing our five largest markets.
Treasury is a strong team of 7, headed by Head of Tax and Treasury and consisting of a Assistant Group Treasurer, 1 Senior Treasury Managers, 2 Treasury Manager, 1 Analyst and this role. The team takes pride in their collaborative approach to work and delivers quality output.
About the position
The role will take responsibility for several practical aspects of the Treasury function, with a particular focus on Treasury Accounting and Cash Forecasting and Reporting.
On the Treasury accounting, the role requires assisting Senior Treasury Manager with all aspects of Treasury Accounting and reporting including external and intercompany loan; hedge accounting; preparation of Treasury related notes to the accounts; quarterly covenant calculation.
On the cash forecasting, the role requires consolidating and presenting Group cashflow forecast on a weekly basis, along with variance analysis.
Nomad Treasury is in the process of implementing S4HANA Treasury, which will change current ways of working. This role will be heavily involved in shaping the new processes in terms of forecasting and accounting. This role will also be a back-up for wider treasury operations including payments.
Experience & qualifications required:
- degree and/or Part-qualified Accountant/ studying towards accounting qualification
- experience in Accounting or Cash Forecasting
- level Excel skills
