Accounts Assistant

FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a privately owned service based SME situated in Nuneaton. Suitable candidates will be experienced in processing Purchase & Sales Ledger, Payroll Admin, supporting Month-End processes with the Finance Manager & generating adhoc reports for management.

Ideally, candidates with have a number of years' experience within a similar role / sector OR be an AAT studier looking for their 1st/2nd move.

In return, the business can offer a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 + private medical after probation - they also have on-site parking.

Duties Will Include

  • Running monthly payroll and ensuring this is maintained on a regular basis
  • Processing all supplier/customer invoices and credit notes in the purchasing ledger
  • Generating monthly reports for upper management relating to purchase orders and payments
  • Managing up-to-date supplier/customer accounts and handling any queries or discrepancies
  • Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required by the finance team

Suitable Candidates Will Be / Have

  • AAT studier OR have the relevant experience (qualified by experience / QBE)
  • Experience using Sage
  • Have used MS Excel previously (they're not looking for a whiz-kid!)
  • Personable & confident
  • Able to commute to Nuneaton, Monday to Friday
