CAD Engineer Permanent Full-Time
Salary - Circa £32,500 DOE
Location - In office, Coventry
We're excited to be working with a specialist in the design and manufacture of beautiful bespoke architectural metalwork across commercial and residential sectors. With over three decades of experience in this field, they have become a major reputable supplier across the UK
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for a motivated & passionate CAD Engineer to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Using SolidWorks to produce high quality, accurate models & drawings for use in manufacture and fitting both in house and by external suppliers
- Adapting designs to suit the needs of the client
- Collate and prepare accurate bills of materials using Microsoft Excel
- Liaise with manufacture and fitting teams to continuously improve quality of drawings
- Support manufacture and fitting teams with additional information as necessary
- Assist in accurately surveying sites
Experiences required
- Competent SolidWorks & Weldments designer
- Background within a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Able to create detailed technical drawings packs for manufacture (DFM)
- Competent in top-down modelling techniques
- Design for architectural metalwork is advantageous
- Able to conduct site surveys is advantageous
- Having a current CSCS card is advantageous
- UK License & Vehicle is beneficial
