Posted by Red 5 People Ltd.

You will be working in a unique ex-offender community hub which is just brilliant. It's a safe space for ex-offenders to come, see a friendly face and get the support they need. They get access to:

  • An onsite gym
  • Music studios
  • Wellness rooms
  • Arts & crafts areas
  • Weekly doughnut and debate clubs (where a support workers discuss the weeks news topics over doughnuts)
  • Cooked breakfasts throughout the week (with the clients getting involved)

With the above in place, this provides a lovely setting for you to provide support to your clients. As well as getting involved in the above, you will work with a caseload of clients in 1:1 sessions to help them access housing & benefits, register with a GP and dentist, find training courses, provide light touch employment support and supporting around general life skills such as budgeting, cooking and general wellness.

Alternatively, you might have worked in a role supporting people on a 121 basis such as a project worker, support worker, hostel worker, employment advisor, careers advisor, job coach or recruitment consultant.
