Shopper Marketing Executive

Our established client are market leaders in their sector (FMCG food) and have fantastic growth plans in place for the future. They are looking for a Shopper Marketing Executive to join their team!

The role:

  • The Shopper Marketing Executive will be able to delight shoppers with best-in-class shopper, trade and other experiential events marketing activities with ownership of the shopper/trade plans and associated resources to deliver key business and commercial goals.
  • Develop the product portfolio with tactical product updates/rollouts across all product categories and relevant markets according to the approved product pipeline
  • Support the marketing team with the execution of major marketing activities across the portfolio where required.
  • To be an advocate between the Marketing and Sales departments and relevant agencies to ensure collaboration and seamless activity execution according to commercial cycle plans and schedules.
  • Develop & lead the execution of shopper/trade activities throughout the multiples and independent channel, co-ordinating among the internal teams and agencies
  • Coordinate Shopper Marketing planning activities
  • Oversee the shopper/trade budget and produce relevant tracking and reconciliation reports
  • Develop and implement all online and in-store brand collaterals
  • Produce required reports on key in-store competitor activities
  • To provide execution support to the Brand and Marketing Managers
  • To actively participate in the development of annual brand plans, cycle execution plans and new product rollout pipelines to ensure seamless execution.

Experience:

  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the key principles of Marketing and practices
  • Have good analytical skills, be a good listener, able to respond to shopper / trade feedback.
  • Be an excellent communicator and presenter, both verbally and written
  • Be a project leader, able to influence others and manage/ deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Can work calmly through multiple deliverables in tight timelines and to problem-solve and troubleshoot key potential challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Has high levels of self-motivation and energy with strong time management skills.

Benefits:

  • Basic salary £35,000 - £40,000
  • Quarterly bonus
