ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
£25,000 PER ANNUM FTE
SOUTH WEST LONDON
PART TIME CONTRACT ROLE 12-15 MONTHS – 3 DAYS A WEEK – HYBRID WORKING
I am excited to partner with a leading company in the education industry to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant on a part time basis. This contract role is instrumental in managing credit control, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting the sales team with client sales analysis. The position also provides support, training and exposure to other associated tasks, so is ideal for a graduate looking to gain more hands-on experience following a previous relevant work placement, or a returning parent looking to get back into work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage credit control.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and provide necessary information within stipulated time.
- Maintain accurate customer and credit control records.
- Generate and send customer statements and reminders.
- Assist the sales team in extracting and analysing client sales activity.
- Issue credit notes and re-issue invoices as required.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience with Sales ledger and credit control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organised, and a team player.
- Good interpersonal skills and a helpful, friendly telephone manner.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central Accounting Software (training provided).
- Experience in consulting or professional services industry.
- A Finance Degree or studying towards an accounting qualification.
