Contract: Permanent
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm, 9am - 5:30pm
Working style: Fully Onsite until you have settled in, then it will become a remote position, but you will be able to work in the office if you like.

We are working with a growing Managed Service Provider who are looking for a Junior Support Engineer to support their growing user base. The Junior Support Engineer will have the chance to gain certifications which the company will fund whilst gaining the opportunity to work on projects and also progress up the ladder within the organisation.

As the Junior Support Engineer, you will have significant opportunity to expand on your existing technical experience by working in a fast paced and demanding environment. In addition, the Junior Support Engineer will also have the chance to carry out overtime and on-call work which will give you the opportunity to earn additional money. Furthermore, the Junior Support Engineer will have the opportunity to travel to client sites which will give you the chance to work in different types of environments, technology stacks and support an array of different users which once again, will allow you to grow your experience very quickly.

Essential skills - Junior Support Engineer:

  • Able to communicate over the phone
  • Ability to troubleshoot desktops
  • Experience filling in tickets and logging them
  • Previous IT Support experience
  • Knowledge on Windows, Active Directory and Office 365

Desirable skills - Junior Support Engineer:

  • Mac experience
  • MSP experience
  • Certifications / Degree
