Exciting Opportunity: Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: Leeds
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reporting to: Marketing Manager

About the Role:

Are you a proactive Digital Marketing Assistant ready for a new challenge? UBT are working with a growing family SME business and are now looking to recruit a Digital Marketing professional on a permanent basis. You will be part of a dynamic team leading PPC campaigns, create engaging content, manage social media, and analyse performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management (CMS):

  • Maintain website updates, health, and security.
  • Drive traffic with SEO-friendly content.
  • Craft product listings and publish blogs.
  • Align promotions with digital marketing campaigns.
  • Manage customer onboarding and custom catalogues.
  • Oversee multiple websites on various platforms.

Digital Marketing:

  • Execute email campaigns, PPC (Google and Meta), social media, and SEO.
  • Lead PPC campaigns to optimise ROAS.
  • Create and schedule digital content for promotions and events.
  • Manage social media accounts and engage followers.
  • Measure and report on campaign performance.
  • Analyse trends to optimise spending and performance.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Maintain mailing lists and CRM databases.

KPIs:

  • Drive website traffic and improve performance metrics.
  • Optimise paid ads for high ROAS.
  • Increase social media growth and engagement.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a digital marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Highly experienced in Wordpress CMS, specifically WooCommerce
  • Excellent HTML & CSS knowledge
  • Experience in managing Paid Search campaigns, specifically Google & Facebook Ads
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices to monitor and grow organic search performance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and interpret performance reports (GA4, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite)
  • Understanding of GDPR to ensure compliance across all digital activity
  • Understanding of Social Media best practices
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Microsoft office, specifically Excel

Desirable experience:

  • Experience using Mailchimp
  • Experience using Adobe Suite
  • Experience using project management software such as Jira
  • AdWords and GA certification are an advantage
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Sage 200 & Intact
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
