Reed Education are delighted to be supporting a primary school in Bradford with the recruitment of a part-time Year 5 teacher to join their team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young students and be a part of a dedicated and passionate teaching team.
This position is 2 days a week and expected working days are Monday and Tuesday on a weekly basis.
Key responsibilities include,
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 5 pupils
- Implementing SATS boosters and interventions to pupils
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback and support to parents and guardians
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Adhering to school policies and curriculum guidelines
- Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Participating in school-wide events and meetings as required
All applicants must have,
- At least 2 years teaching experience in a KS2 classroom
- QTS in Primary Education
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to the education and wellbeing of young children
