Our client, a market leading Global Advisory, Restructuring & Investment firm is looking for a Valuation Associate to join their team in the Midlands. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team of experienced professionals in their Corporate Recovery team. You will be responsible for the valuation, appraisal and disposal of industrial assets on behalf of clients facing insolvency, restructuring and/or asset disposition challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct valuations and appraisals of industrial assets, including machinery, equipment, and inventory.
- Assist in asset disposal programs, including private treaty, tender, and online auction sales.
- Interact with a variety of stakeholders, including insolvency and restructuring professionals, turnaround firms, asset finance companies, and accountants.
- Build and grow client relationships.
- Support the wider Commercial and Industrial Team.
Requirements
- Experience in machinery and equipment valuation and/or disposition work in the Corporate Recovery sector.
- RICS or other relevant machinery-related qualification is desirable.
- Ability to develop and manage client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel.
