Property Services Assistant

We are seeking a Property Services Assistant to join our team, providing essential administrative support to the residential team in delivering all aspects of planned, programmed, reactive, and other property maintenance. The role is key in ensuring services meet or exceed good practice and achieve best value.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and review of a list of approved contractors for various maintenance works.
  • Liaise with customers regarding property-related matters and place orders for works using a bespoke computerised order system.
  • Ensure contractors are promptly and properly instructed, maintaining records of all works undertaken.
  • Assist with payments for all property-related invoices and administer scheme-related requirements.
  • Manage and process communal buildings insurance claims.
  • Provide general administration and record-keeping support for the Department as instructed.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, courses, and exhibitions as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as specified by the management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good general education (O Level / GCSE or equivalent).
  • Understanding of general office procedures.
  • Demonstrable customer care skills with attention to detail.
  • Numerate and literate with the ability to speak confidently to contractors and specialists.
  • Computer literate - proficient in Word, Excel, and email.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of QUBE property management software and basic construction and maintenance terms.
