An inspiring Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Windsor & Maidenhead is looking for an Emotional & Behavioural Support Assistant to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in working with children-whether through mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or previous teaching assistant roles-or those enthusiastic about starting a career in this field.

This rewarding position involves working with students who face challenges such as Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Your role will be to build positive connections, provide tailored support, and help students overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

As an Emotional & Behavioural Support Assistant, you will:

  • Work one-on-one or with small groups to help students achieve their goals.
  • Support emotional development and promote positive behaviours.
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and personalized lessons.
  • Help students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
  • Contribute to creating a caring, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Experience: Previous experience with SEN is beneficial but not required-enthusiasm and dedication are key!
