Project Manager/Scrum Master – 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

Our client is on the lookout for a Project Manager/Scrum Master to support the creation of new Software assets and managing business as usual activities for key applications across multiple Business Units. You will be responsible for coordinating all change management activities and delivering change projects within levels of accepted risk and impact for the Business Units.

Working with relevant businesses and with the Group IT Applications team to ensure that key Group IT applications are managed in the most efficient way possible, meeting the customer expectations and ensuring that key dependencies and stakeholders are identified and managed. The key to your success as a Scrum Master will be your ability to lead and influence change with individual teams, 3rd party agencies and business units.

Key experience & skills

  • Significant Project Management experience with at least 2-3 years' experience in the Scrum Master role leading a team adopting scrum practices
  • Practical understanding of Agile methodologies, principles and various techniques (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, User Stories, Automation testing etc..)
  • Experience of applying a Servant Leadership approach to inspire teams to deliver, encouraging collaboration and conversation
  • Experience of using JIRA to manage the Product backlog
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Educated to Degree Level/High A Levels or equivalent
  • Professional Project Management qualifications (Prince2 etc.)
  • Qualified Scrum Master
  • Significant experience of eCommerce Project Management within Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Experience of business and organizational change in a complex environment
  • Ability to make incisive and pragmatic decisions in the context of a fast growth environment
  • Consistent demonstration of collaboration, facilitation, strong stakeholder management & excellent presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel;
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious attitude to work with a no limits mindset.
