**Role Overview:

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
  • Foster a passion for Geography and an inquisitive attitude toward the world in your students.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to support student learning and differentiation.
  • Assess students effectively and track progress using school systems.
  • Take part in enrichment activities, school trips, and geography-related extracurriculars.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.

**Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS**)** or an equivalent internationally recognised teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Geography or a closely related subject is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching Geography to secondary school level.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for subject knowledge and an enthusiasm for delivering the Geography curriculum in creative and engaging ways.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and student wellbeing.
