Interim Financial Controller | £400 - 500 Per day (Umbrella) | 3 Months+ | Hybrid / Remote
For an international climate-focused NGO based in London, we are recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for the UK Region. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will have regional accountability for ensuring the financial reporting is robust, and that compliance and control is adhered to for the Group.
Main Duties:
- Advise UK stakeholders on financial KPIs, and budget variances to drive decision-making
- Design and build reports for stakeholders to generate insightful information
- Monitor and track financial performance and improvement areas
- Advise and support stakeholders on financial queries, acting as Business Partner and link with the Global Finance function
- Ensure compliance on UK tax, statutory accounts, payments and payroll
- Train and build capacity with staff on financial matters
- Collaborate with the Global Finance team on process improvement, compliance and controls
What will you bring to this role?
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent
- Extensive business partnering and stakeholder management experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Track record in creating budgets and insightful financial reports
- Strong experience in designing and building financial reports and interpreting data for decision-making
- Strong Excel modelling experience
