I am seeking a passionate Laboratory Technician to join an analytical team in the Midlands, UK.

Company:
Leading material company who focuses on recycling precious metals. The company has multiple sites around the world.
Role:
- Receive, process and analyse samples to the highest ethical standards
- Precise and efficient analysis using ICP, carbon, fire assay, XRF, and moisture techniques
- Champion continuous improvement for the highest quality standards
- Ensure lab operations excel in cleanliness, stock control, and organisation
- Prepare powder by Fire Assay, Oxidising Fusion and classic wet chemistry techniques
- Perform Laboratory equipment checks and routine maintenance
- Maintain high level of cleanliness and organisation as required in a laboratory environment
Candidate:
- Degree in Chemistry, material science/related
- Experience using ICP and XRF
- Strong attention to detail
