  • Reconcile all billing, payments, and recovery work streams.
  • Allocate reports to appropriate resources, ensuring accuracy and validation before stakeholder submission within agreed service levels.
  • Investigate report issues, implement solutions, and ensure timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Undertake management responsibilities including regular performance reviews, coaching and developing team members' analytical skills, and agreeing on objectives with the Head of Billing & Collections.
  • Define new reporting requirements, coordinate with Business Intelligence Manager and MI Analyst for development and delivery.
  • Review reporting checklists to ensure report completion and compliance with audit standards.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, actively promoting the BSA team.
  • Identify and own potential process improvements, including feasibility analysis and benefits presentation to the Head of Billing & Collections.
  • Design and implement new reports, collaborating with MI Analyst for user acceptance testing (UAT) and documentation updates.
  • Design test scenarios to ensure new reports are robust and accurate, taking full ownership of completed UAT and presenting findings to the Head of Billing & Collections for sign off.
  • Maintain good communication and relationships across the operation, provide support to the Business Intelligence, MI & Resource team, and stay updated with all relevant company and department policies and procedures.

What You'll Need

  • Experienced in managing a team
  • Worked in a MI environment and used to dealing with large datasets and high volumes of data.
  • Experience of developing queries to analyse data, translate the output into relevant reporting/analysis and communicate to multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven knowledge of working with data in Microsoft Access & Excel to an advanced level is essential (Macro and VBA).
  • Proven knowledge of using SQL Server or Qlikview to interrogate large databases and develop parameter driven reporting is essential
  • Systematic, organised, able to plan ahead and prioritise work
  • Highly numerate with good accuracy and attention to detail.
