What is the Role?

As a Commercial Graduate joining SSEN Transmission in our Regulation Team, you will follow a specialist pathway. Specialists will work with experts in their specialism, gaining exposure within a business area for the duration of their graduate programme which can last between 12 months and 2 years. Our specialist pathway provides experience that will aim to lead to a substantive post.

The Transmission Regulation team acts as the interface between SSEN Transmission and the economic regulator Ofgem, ensuring we can secure the revenue required to upgrade and maintain our network. As a Graduate Analyst, you will play a key role within the Transmission Regulation directorate, providing essential support across a wide range of topics affecting SSEN Transmission. You will be responsible for preparing information for distribution to internal and external stakeholders; and will also be responsible for preparing, quality assuring and assessing the effectiveness of regulatory submissions that will play a key part in delivering our Pathway to 2030 project portfolio.

Throughout the programme, you will have the support of our Graduate Programme Manager and a business mentor, who will provide guidance and support to enable you to reach your full potential.

We are looking for candidates with degrees in Economics, Politics, Finance, Maths, Engineering, Science, or Law.
