Customer Service Administrator
Based in Edinburgh
£12 - £12.50 per hour + holiday pay
Reed Business Support are pleased to be working with one of Scotland's leading Education institutions on a temporary Customer Service Administrator role. This position is expected to last 2-3 months but has a possibility of turning into something longer term. You will be working in a vibrant, fun team and dealing with a mixture of Customer Service and Administrative tasks.
This role is not contact centre based and you will be involved in a variety of tasks.
- Office based
- Mon - Fri (8:30am - 5pm)
- Start date: ASAP
Key responsibilities:
- Receiving student enquiries about courses and application processes on a variety of communication platforms (incl. phone, email, and website)
- Providing responses to students about their enquiries where possible or sending to another relevant member of staff
- Continuously developing knowledge of courses and other university related information
- Supporting the Marketing and Student Recruitment Teams with administrative duties
- Sending marketing material to other campuses throughout the country
- Maintaining the stock levels of required material
- Ordering new stock online
- Compiling information and updating internal CRM system
- Supporting the Marketing and Student Recruitment Teams to produce information for prospective students
- Ad hoc duties as required
Person specifications:
- Previous experience working in an Administrative role
- Previous experience working with customers in some capacity
- Good IT skills - particularly Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident and able to communicate with a variety of parties
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a Higher / Further Education setting
