My client are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Plumber on a permanent basis, to be solely responsible for all Operations & Maintenance services for their unit in Milton Keynes.
Are you adaptable and proactive, and have amazing interpersonal and communication skills? Then this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
- To be able to carry out preventative & reactive maintenance work
- Undertaking of all mechanical services - ventilation, hot and cold water systems etc.
- Able to report accurately all work defects
- Able to carry out repairs on all types of building services
- Understanding of the installed mechanical services and visit plant rooms regularly
- Providing guidance on site installations to other contractors
Skills & experience:
- City & Guilds or BTEC National Certificate/ Diploma (NVQ L2)
- Apprenticeship in mechanical services, ventilation, plumbing or air conditioning
- Be good to have experience in pipe fitting or has a heating engineering background
- Able to be apart of there Out of Hours schedule they currently have in place
- Can be flexible, proactive and have great interpersonal skills, and able to work to a high quality of service
Benefits and other information:
- Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week
- Permanent
- Salary - £25,742 - £28,759 - (+£3,500 allowance per year, experience depending)
- 30 day's annual holiday, plus 3 additional days over x-mas
