This is a superb opportunity to work as a Grounds Keeper/Gardener for Brighton & Hove Council. The role will require you to drive.
This role is Monday to Friday and is currently contracted until October although this may change.
You:
- Customer focused approach
- Previous gardening and maintenance experience
- Previous experience in a public facing role is desired.
- UK driving licence
The Role will involve:
- Reporting any damage caused by bad weather or by public vandalism to the appropriate person to ensure that it is rectified as soon as practicable.
- Pruning, planting, bedding.
- Assisting in site preparation for building. Soft and hard landscaping.
- Responding to incidents and liaising with emergency services if necessary.
- Litter picking.
- General grounds maintenance.
- Playground inspections.
