PageGroup are delighted to be supporting a highly successful manufacturing organisation based in Coventry with the appointment of a Senior HR Manager to join a small, busy function.

This role can offer some flexibility for hybrid working - business needs dependent.

Description

Reporting to the MD and working closely with Senior Leadership Team, the role of Senior HR Manager will oversee a small HR function and take full responsibility for all HR operational matters, alongside working with the MD on the People Strategy and implementation of new HR initiatives.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation's overall business goals
  • Work with the SLT on HR initiatives and projects
  • Coach and develop management and leadership team to enable them to deal with people matters more effectively
  • Take responsibility for the employee engagement survey and ensure actions are implemented accordingly
  • Continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and systems
  • Oversee a small HR team
  • Manage complex employee relations and escalations/ET etc
  • Participate in organisational growth plans and contribute to team engagement
  • Promote a positive and inclusive culture

Profile

Ideal applicants for this role will have a proven background in a similar HR position, you will be comfortable with a mixed role of both HR operations and strategy.

You will have the ability to build excellent stakeholder relationships.

CIPD Level 7 (or prepared to work towards) is preferred but not essential
